Requite Takes Home UDB Champ Tilt

January 31 - Eight teams competed for the title of Ultimate Dance Battle Champion, held in the EVB Gymnasium.
The Program started with an Opening Prayer led by Kent Salonga, followed by Opening Remarks delivered by Dr. Alexander S. Acosta. He spoke inspiring words to congratulate all the teams who've managed to make it to the UDB Finals. He also said to challenge the finalists to surpass their limits and improve their craft and treasure it, for their talent is a gift from the God Almighty
The mechanics, criteria for judging, and judges of the competition were presented by Ann Dominique De Guzman, Chester Cueto, and Ashley Mae Umali, respectively.
Afterwards, the UDB finalists showcased their talents to the crowd and win the hearts of the judges for the title of UDB Champion. Requite was the first group to present, followed by BBC, DOH SUZU, and Bes Crew. An Intermission performance by last year's UDB Champion, the Androgynous, showed the crowd a performance worthy of the title Champion and hyped up the crowd. Following their performance was No Identity, Crush, Vendetta, and last but not least, the BTS.
After their performances, a representative from each group was sent to the stage for a showdown. The last dancer standing was Gian Balajadia who was subsequently dubbed the Best Dancer. Another showdown to hype the crowd was a free-for-all, wherein all dancers from the crowd were given the opportunity to join the battle onstage.
Afterwards, the certificates of participation and appreciation were given to all the dancers and judges respectively.
